Large antique 19th century Aviary House with stained glass windows in wooden frames. Like a wire-frame diagram, this unusual birdhouse is in the shape of a Victorian Residence, complete with pitched roof, dormer windows and stained glass. All set in a metal wire surround with wooden structural frame. Set on a removable wood base with curb. Metal handles on two sides.
Dimensions are 40 ¼” high x 37” wide x 52 ½” deep.
Good condition, age and surface wear and paint finish loss throughout. Some wood loose or missing. Otherwise, a unique American specimen. Sold as is.
